United Way

  • United Way is a charity that is supported by our entire district. It provides assistance to the local community through several resources. This is so we can give back to the community in times of need. Our school supports United Way. We have a fundraising event each year here at CMS, which is in turn donated to United Way.

Peer Counselors

  • The Peer Council is an Inter-school support group made up of the school counselor, teachers, and a selected group of students.
  • Students are selected through teachers nominations. Along with the nominations, they must have high academic standings.
  • The counselors are responsible for welcoming new students at CMS, promoting high self-esteem, and supporting students in need of a shoulder to lean on or an ear to talk to through difficult times.
